Robert Scharstein, MD: Men’s Ministry Leader



Through the years, Robert Scharstein, MD has spent a lot of time helping out around his community. Robert Scharstein, MD is an active volunteer at many different nonprofit organizations. He even founded the Lowcountry Autism Consortium. Robert Scharstein, MD still works at the Lowcountry Autism Consortium as an Executive Director. The Lowcountry Autism Consortium is a fantastic organization that provides a lot of wonderful services for people with autism. As the father of two autistic children, Robert Scharstein, MD is very proud of everything the Lowcountry Autism Consortium has been able to accomplish. Thanks to the efforts put forth by Robert Scharstein, MD and the rest of the staff at the Lowcountry Autism Consortium, the lives of people with autism have been made a little bit easier. 

Robert Scharstein, MD is also a published author. Robert Scharstein, MD wrote “Bleomycin Nodules Mimicking Osteogenic Sarcoma.” In addition to being a published author, Robert Scharstein, MD has also appeared on television on two separate occasions. Robert Scharstein, MD used these television appearances to promote autism advocacy as well as awareness. 

Currently, Robert Scharstein, MD spends time as a the men’s ministry leader at Seacoast Church. Seacoast Church happens to be the largest church in the entire city of Charleston, SC. Robert Scharstein, MD is extremely happy with his position as the men’s ministry leader at Seacoast Church. Robert Scharstein, MD has been a devout Christian for many years and greatly enjoys spreading the word of God to the other members of the men’s ministry. 

Seacoast Church has more attendees and members than any other church in the city of Charleston. Robert Scharstein, MD is very happy to be a part of something so large and important. Robert Scharstein, MD will continue to work hard as the leader of the men’s ministry at Seacoast Church for many years to come.

Robert Scharstein, MD: University of South Carolina Honors College Teacher



Robert Scharstein, MD has been a very busy person throughout his professional career. As a retired doctor, Robert Scharstein, MD has spent a lot of time practicing and learning about medicine. Robert Scharstein, MD started his college career at the University of South Carolina, where he was a part of the prestigious honors program. Robert Scharstein, MD was very happy with his decision to attend the University of South Carolina. Robert Scharstein, MD studied hard during his time at the University of South Carolina and was able to graduate with a bachelor of science degree in biology and chemistry. Robert Scharstein, MD formed great relationships with his teachers and fellow classmates and really made an effort to make the best out of his college career. 

After graduating from the University of South Carolina, Robert Scharstein, MD went on to attend the Medical University of South Carolina College of Medicine. Robert Scharstein, MD spent four years studying hard at the Medical University of South Carolina College of Medicine and eventually graduated with a doctorate of medicine. Robert Scharstein, MD highly recommends applying to attend the Medical University of South Carolina College of Medicine if you are interested in becoming a physician. 

After attending the Medical University of South Carolina College of Medicine, Robert Scharstein, MD went on to land an internship position at the Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Robert Scharstein, MD was able to become very knowledgeable on the subject of medicine while interning at the Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. 

Later in his professional career, Robert Scharstein, MD became a teacher at his alma mater, the University of South Carolina. Robert Scharstein, MD could not have been more pleased to return to the University of South Carolina as a teacher. Robert Scharstein, MD taught at the University of South Carolina from 2004 until 2007.

This includes everything from advocating for the needs of individuals with autism in school, to assisting these individuals in the workplace. Robert Scharstein, MD proudly participates in the events that Autism Speaks holds all over the country. Robert Scharstein, MD - Working as a Doctor



Robert Scharstein, MD is a retired doctor, and formerly ran his own medical practices in North Carolina and South Carolina. He retired in 2003. Robert Scharstein, MD practiced medicine for many years and has greatly enjoyed it. Robert Scharstein, MD is someone who really enjoys helping other human beings. After coming to the realization that he enjoys helping others, Robert Scharstein, MD knew that he wanted to be a physician.

Robert Scharstein, MD started his college career at the University of South Carolina. Robert Scharstein, MD was a proud member of the Honors Program at the University of South Carolina. Robert Scharstein, MD was able to successfully attain his bachelor of science degree in the field of biology and chemistry. After successfully graduating from the University of South Carolina, Robert Scharstein, MD went on to attend the Medical University of South Carolina College of Medicine. Robert Scharstein, MD earned a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Medicine.
